Rivendale Nursery opened in January 2003 and we accept children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. As we are in partnership with the local council we can provide funded places for 3 - 5 year olds. We are registered to accommodate 41 children.
The nursery is open for visits at any time without appointment so please feel free to drop in for a look around. The nursery is bright and cheerful at all times and we welcome comments and suggestions from parents and visitors.
Our staffing ratios ensure the children always enjoy personal attention as well as lots of interaction with their peers which enhances their social skills. When the time comes to move on to primary school, many children start school with friends they have already made during their time with us.
The nursery has been created to be child-friendly with specifically designed furniture, equipment and resources. We have a large enclosed outdoor space and a wide range of equipment and activities for the children to use and play with outside. We spend time outdoors every day and encourage a healthy lifestyle with the food we provide, the activities we offer including daily toothbrushing.
